Travel to Biratnagar

The Central Office of Lahan Eye & Ear Care System (LEECS) is in Biratnagar, in South-East Nepal. Biratnagar has its own airport and is close to the Indian border town Jogbani. Bihar is the neighbouring Indian state.

By Air:

Biratnagar – Kathmandu domestic flights

From several Indian airports to Purnea airport, Darbhanga airport, Bagdogra airport.

By Road:

Direct buses from Kathmandu, Pokhara, Birgunj, Nepalgunj, Kakadvitta etc. to Biratnagar.

By Train:

Jogbani and Siliguri are the nearest entry points for Nepal by train from India.

Travel to Lahan

Lahan is located in South-East Nepal, at the East-West Highway close to the Indian border, neighbouring the Indian state Bihar.

From Kathmandu by bus (10 hours) or by domestic flight to either Janakpur (85 km west of Lahan) or by domestic flight to either Rajbiraj (38 KM east of Lahan) or Biratnagar (125 km east of Lahan) and continuation by local bus.

From India by train and road via Jayanagar or Laukaha as entry points to
