TUnder the NNJS, Lahan Eye & Ear Care System (LEECS) runs two Centers of Excellence hospitals with five surgical centers and 42 primary eye and ear care centers. LEECS has 42 years of work experience. It is high-quality, high-volume, affordable, and comprehensive eye & ENT services. In the year 2025, it examined 14,31,288 eye examinations and 1,32,213 surgeries.

As we are a leading organization that is a high-volume, affordable, quality service provider of Nepal, having international recognition. We have an expert team that is related to anagement, public health, research, human resources, finance, and clinical practitioners. We believe that sharing is caring. We have experiences of evaluation of eye hospital in abroad and different capacity building training skills to enhance eye care services.

  • To support human resource in capacity building of eye hospital to make the hospital sustainable.
  • To facilitate data monitoring and evaluation of the eye hospital.
  • To strengthen clinical and management protocols of hospitals.
  • To facilitate strategic planning of the eye hospital.
  • To support and conduct research to generate evidence-based practice.

Process

Strategic Planning workshop:

This will be done at hospital level where board member, senior ophthalmologists, senior administrative staff, Hospital manager, senior paramedic will be invited in the program. The focus of the workshop will be to expose the team to various service delivery models that have worked for eye hospitals. The team will be guided through structured process to recognize the magnitude of unmet eye care needs in the community, their own potentials, and set goals for the hospital.
